The heart of men’s ministry is illustrated by 1 Timothy 2:8. “I desire then that in every place the men should pray, lifting holy hands without anger or quarreling.” We are men of prayer. It is from this deep seeking of Jesus Christ that we are transformed more and more into His image, and the power of the Holy Spirit flows out to our families, the church, and our communities.
Every Wednesday, we meet at 7:00 p.m. in the church foyer. It’s our time to dig into God’s Word and pray for one another, fostering unity that will bring the Lord’s blessing (Psalm 133). We also share testimonies, prayer requests and service opportunities to “stir up one another to love and good works” (Hebrews 10:24). There are special annual events, such as the men’s retreat, where we gather as brothers to meet with our Heavenly Father. It’s a time of intimate encounter with the living God, where there are no set schedules, and the only guest speaker is Jesus.
Perhaps you’re hungry for more of God in your life. Perhaps you’re searching for freedom and healing from past wounds and burdens. Perhaps you’re searching for the Truth because you know there’s more to life than what you’ve been living. Whoever you are and wherever you are, you are welcome to join us. We will pray, share the love of Christ and trust in the power of the Holy Spirit to change lives.
